Caryn Brewer loves transforming pre-owned furniture, bringing new life to found objects and accessories, and repurposing vintage jewelry with bits and pieces of new elements.
Her ten year retail and management careers with Benetton and The Limited Incorporated are the basis for her vivid displays, her creative energy, and her ability to interact and connect to customers. In her post retail endeavors, Caryn raised a family with her husband and dabbled in part time decorating and designing, displaying her works in small neighborhood shops and for many years at Mission Antique Mall.
She was a co-owner of Pineapple Home, where she and her partner were able to find and create in their own space, and will now be sharing her talents at A Fabulous Find in Mission, Kansas and here at Designer Consignment in the historic West Bottoms. Caryn invites you to come visit and she says she is sure you will leave with “a wonderful find.”
Angie Hickman, purveyor of “Bungalow-A-Go-Go”, loves bringing a fresh spin to traditional decor. Customers looking for fun, excitement, and a sense of coastal chinoiserie chic, adore her style! Throughout her time in the business, she has participated in many venues throughout KC, lived through MANY remodeling projects/a new home build, and even co-owned a “bricks and mortar” home decor shop (Pineapple Home).

Brits has been in business since 1995 in downtown Lawrence, KS. Sally, started the business with a long time friend, Staci. Staci was in the process of getting her Masters and so their business plan and such was part of her project. Both of them LOVE England and everything about it. Staci was a big mystery reader. So lots of Agatha Christie and Inspector Morse to inspire them!
They have visited Cotswold Lavender farm, a beautiful farm near Snowshill in the Cotswolds. They know the owners quite well and believe they are the sole US importer of their products.
Cartwright & Butler is a Yorkshire company. Many of their products are sold at Harrod’s, Selfridges and John Lewis (not to mention all over Yorkshire). They are fabulous! Brits will be carrying biscuits in cartons and tins from them.
Along with some other bits and bobs, Brits will be carrying tapestry bags, that they found while visiting a big gift fair in England.
